  What a gem. Tucked away in the Claremont Village, this place serves up fantastic drinks. I'm really not a tea drinker, but Tocaja serves up the best iced teas I've ever had. My whole family is hooked. Their boba is fantastic. Would highly recommend their "Purple Me" iced tea.
  
  The space is small and quaint, and primarily caters to college students studying, but it is definitely worth a detour!

  My friend Julie N. was visiting from New York and we had just been tortured by the 5 miles Claremont Wilderness Trail Park. Our bodies urged us to hydrate with some iced beverages. My friend recalled a tea place she enjoyed in the Claremont Village so I happily complied with her wishes.
  
  I usually go to CK Cafe when I crave tea in the Claremont Village, so this was my first time discovered ToCaJa. I was surprised by its' existence if I am being completely honest. They are located next to the Cheese Cave on the north end of Yale.
  
  My friend ordered a large iced Lychee Oolong ($4.75) which has an oolong tea base and lychee pure and chia seeds ($0.50) add-on. I ordered a large iced Purple Me ($4.75) which is a hibiscus tea base with lychee puree and I added in aloe vera ($0.50).
  
  I liked my drink but it was a bit sweet for me. I tried my friend's drink and preferred it much more by compare. I think in the future I would go for the Lychee Oolong since it has the lychee essence I enjoy without being overwhelmingly sweet.
  
  The Claremont Village is full of hidden gems and this is definitely one of them. I am sure I will find myself here again in the future.

  +Friendly and fast service. Everyone that I have encountered is very personable and kind.
  +Vast tea selection
  +Delicious Speciality teas: I have tried Purple Me (Hibiscus and Lychee), Lychee Oolong, and Angels Kiss (White ginger pear tea, hibiscus, lim, orange, and mint). All are delicious and refreshing, but they can be a little sweet, but they can customize for you and decrease the level of sugar.
  +Small shop, but there is still a good amount of seating. Whether its at tables in the back, comfy chairs in the front, or the high top table in the front.
  +Free wifi
  +They have board games to use
  -When it's hot, it can get pretty hot in there.

  We got a hot white chocolate mocha latte and it was just right. Not too sweet not too bitter. Sometimes it takes a simple thing done just right to make you happy and this was exactly what I wanted.

  Great service every time, exoctic drinks, the cookies and cream ice cream Oreo milk tea
  Blended milk shake is to die for!
